A family wedding in Duluth, Minnesota turns into the craziest weekend ever. Hotel reservations are canceled and there are no rooms anywhere in the city due to a hockey tournament. They try to find another room as suspicious men tail them wherever they go. Dad warns us that they’re Russian and bold, we all laugh it off. The reception featured a college mascot that sprinted out of the kitchen and knocked grandma to the ground. Faced with a four hour drive home in a snowstorm, they we able to find a hotel an hour away. They return home without incident, but lost a box of precious wedding cookies along the way. Years later, their daughter is nearly abducted by the Russian Mafia, proving that the Russians are no joke and Duluth isn’t the tourist paradise we thought it was.
